* DURATION
Expotech 2011 will be launched on November 27th and will last six days.
* GALA
The Gala dinner will take place on November 27th in the Movenpick Hotel in Ramallah
* THE CONFERENCE DAY
The conference will take place on November 28th in the Movenpick Hotel in Ramallah and it will cover four main areas:
1. Investment in IT: Investors, Venture Capitalists, Angels and financial experts will discuss investment opportunities and provide a set of recommendations to minimize investment limitations in IT in Palestine.
2. The Palestinians Abroad as Ambassadors for Palestinian IT: The session will discuss the role of the Palestinians living abroad in promoting the IT sector as an address around the world. The session will also highlight success stories of Palestinians living abroad who came back, started companies and hired tens of graduates contributing to job creation.
3. IT Education: The session will discuss most recent education methodologies in IT and will provide recommendations on how to improve the quality of graduates to meet the needs of the industry and the market in order to make it more competitive.
4. IT Innovation: This session will discuss the requirements to build an ecosystem that supports innovation and entrepreneurship. The session will also feature speakers that lead innovation in major multinationals.
The conference is expected to host close to 400 participants from diverse groups of senior government officials, IT professionals, investors, educators, Diaspora, business people from the region and the world.
* SPEAKERS:
Expotech will feature a minimum of 24 international and local speakers.
* MULTINATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DAYS:
The multinational days will take place on November 29th & 30th in different locations across the West Bank conducting lectures and seminars to contribute to knowledge transfer. Multinationals participating this year include Oracle, Microsoft, CISCO, IBM, Google, Nokia and others.
* EXHIBITION:
An exhibition for IT solutions and products will be at display from November 29th to December 1st in the First International Palestinian Exhibition FIPEX in Ramallah.
